Very good food, courtesy, prepared staff, rustic and comfortable room. The price is high, although the raw materials are very good, it&#39;s still an oster.

Friendly staff but unfortunately the quality of the food was really poor.

We booked this restaurant based on other people&rsquo;s reviews.   It was a little out of town up on the hill.  It did not disappoint.  The wonderful gentleman (owner) greeted us with an up-close-and-personal view of one of his ceps and a small basket of black and white truffles (tartufo).  Every dish was greeted by the party with murmurs of enjoyment.  One of the party asked for a cooked steak.   There were options on the menu for steak tartare.   The chef produced this with white tartufo grated at the table.   He eats a lot of steaks and said this was the best he had ever had.   A few also had the tiramisu (&ldquo;best so far&rdquo; they said) and a homemade marmalade and chocolate cake with pear.   The lady and gentlemen hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly.  10/10. Benissimo

Amazing lunch, best Fiorentina in the region!

Cibo molto buono, cortesia, personale preparato, locale accogliente rustico.Il prezzo lo trovo alto, anche se le materie prime sono molto buone, e&#39; comunque un &#39;osteria.

Eravamo gi&agrave; stati in questo ristorante nel 2020 a settembre. Eravamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dei piatti di qualit&agrave;. A distanza di 4 anni non siamo stati delusi.Atmosfera molto piacevole, pochi tavoli e cibo di qualit&agrave;

Come sempre l&rsquo;Osteria del Castellazzo rappresenta un punto di riferimento per chi ama i piatti veri, creati da mani e cervelli sapienti, partendo da materie prime eccellenti oltre che territoriali, sostenibili e sane. Trippa marinata alla soia da stellato, capriolo tenero sapido cottura perfetta, arrosto di spalla di pecora cornigliese commovente per morbidezza e gusto. Il tutto accompagnato da un sorprendente calice di barbera Inoctem di Barani di Vigoleno. Bravi bravi!

As always, Osteria del Castellazzo is a reference point for those who love the true dishes, created by wise hands and brains, from excellent raw materials as well as territorial, sustainable and healthy. The soya star-marine trip, the fine, fine, fine, cooked caprilo, the skull of cornilian sheep, moving for softness and taste, all accompanied by a surprising Inoctem barber cup of Barani di Vigoleno. Good, good, good!

&Eacute; il secondo anno che ci fermiamo a Salsomaggiore ed &eacute; ormai una tappa fissa la cena all&#39;Osteria del Castellazzo. Personale squisito, cibo ottimo, di qualit&agrave;.  Consigliatissimo
